Muesli Bars

Easy to put in the kids lunch boxes or have a snack for your self. This on the go muesli bar will satisfy the 11am or 3pm hunger pangs and provide you with a great source of healthy fats as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup goji berries
  • 1 cup buckinis
  • 1 cup currants
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup slithered almonds
  • 1/2 cup rice malt syrup
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined and press firmly on the lined tray
  3. Cook for 20 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool before slicing. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
