Decadent Chocolate Brownies

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there is no missing out on a plant based diet. These brownies are the real deal and don’t be turned off by the use of black beans. Just give it a go, they keep it so moist and gooey in the middle. Easy to make and even easier to eat!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups black beans

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 3 tbs coconout oil

  • 1/4 cups date syrup

  • 3 rbs cacao powder

  • 1 tsp baking powers

  • 8 squares of vanilla and cacao chocolate by Raw Integrity Choclate roughly chopped

Method

  1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees

  2. Put all the ingredients into a food processor except the choclate and blend until combined. Add a little extra water if you feel the batter is too thick.

  3. Place into a lined baking tin and sprinkle chocolate on top.

  4. Bake for 40minutes. Make sure brownie is pulling away from the edges to ensure it’s done.

  5. Cool before serving and enjoy with fresh berries and coconut yogurt.

Makes 8 slices.
