Choc-Mint Bliss Balls
These bliss balls are a great way to get extra nutrients in. The use of both fresh mint and the peppermint essential oils means that not only are these balls delicious, but they aid in digestion and help with mental clarity. What better reason do you need to make and enjoy these choc-mint bliss balls.
- 1/2 cup dates
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 10 drops peppermint essential oil (food grade or peppermint essence)
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2 tbsp boiling water
- Soak dates in the boiling water for 5-10 minutes to soften.
- Add all ingredients including the water into a food processor and blend till combined.
- Roll balls in cacao powder, shredded coconut or simply have on their own.
Makes 12 balls
